Bangladesh bat in first Test against Australia

Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and elected to bat in the first Test against Australia at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

The match was started at 10am.

Nasir Hossain was included for his first Test since 2015, when he turned out against South Africa, while Shafiul Islam was also brought in.

Australia named their XI on the eve of the Test and there were no late surprises, with Usman Khawaja listed at No.3 after being overlooked for all four Tests in India earlier this year.

Ashton Agar was chosen as the second frontline spinner and will play Test cricket for the first time since his debut series in 2013.
