India reached final beating Sri Lanka

India on Tuesday confirmed final of U19 Cricket World Cup 2016 beating Sri Lanka by 97 runs in the semi-final match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Sri Lanka won the toss and send India to bat first.

India managed to score 267 runs after losing 9 wickets in 50 over’s.

Anmolpreet Singh scored 72 runs from 92 balls and Sarfraraz Khan scored 59 runs from 71 balls for India.

Atisha Fernando picked 4 wickets, Lahiru Kumara and Thilan Nimesh took two wickets each.

In chasing of 268 runs Sri Lanka managed to score 170 all out in 42.4 over’s.

Kamindu Mendis scored 39 runs from 67 balls and Shammu Ashan scored 38 runs from 49 balls for Sri Lanka.

Maynak Dagar took three wickets, Avesh Khan picked two wickets and Khaleel Ahmed, Rahul Batham, Washington Sundar took one wicket each of Sri Lanka.
