The much awaited Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is all set to start on 4 November as the participating teams are trying to pick their desire players for the upcoming battle.

Comilla Victorians, one of the contenders of the domestic franchise event, have retained left-hander Imrul Kayes alongside stumpper-batsman Liton Kumar Das and all-rounder Saifuddin for this year’s BPL.

There were many talks about Imrul, whether the left hander would take part for Comilla or not, and has also been learning that he would be listed in A plus category. The situation was like that if Comilla choose Tamim then they wouldn't pick Imrul Kayes. Now the cloud has been passed away when the franchise on Thursday announced that they retained Imrul Kayes for the upcoming edition and the process is being underway to get Tamim Iqbal.

However, BPL Governing Council asked to all franchises to submit a list of four players to them within July 24. Before finishing the deadline, Comilla Victorians has announced the name of trio- Imrul Kayes, Liton Das and Saifuddin- who are expected to feature for the Comilla Victorians.

Of them, Bangladesh youngster Liton Kumar Das, who led the BCB High Performance Unit recently concluded Australia tour, played beautifully in Australia tour. The wicket-keeper batsman also displayed his batting in the Dhaka Premier league for Abahani Limited.

All-rounder Saifuddin Ahmed was also a part of the BCB High Performance Unit and bowled right on the money as his brilliant bowling the HP team returned to the country with a 100% winning record.

Meanwhile, the authorities of Comilla Victorians have already sent to a letter to the BPL Governing Council and also mentioned that they had already included Tamim Iqbal in their side.

In this regard, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) has signed between Tamim and them.
