Bangladesh are preparing themselves for the upcoming home series against Australia. As part of their preparation, they are now busy with a two-week fitness camp under the supervision of strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayen.

Apart from seven players, who are now busy with their task, a total of 22 players joined the camp, started from Monday.

Tigers uprising youngster Nurul Hasan Sohan has been included in the preliminary squad for the forthcoming series.

The wicketkeeper cum batsman on Wednesday expressed his views regarding himself while talking to reporters at Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) journalist lounge.

The 23-year right handed batsman said that he faced a lot of problems with his batting and keeping so that he is trying to overcome these problems alongside his fitness.

“If I get a chance to play more internationals and domestic cricket, I will try my level best to prove myself,” he said, in reply to a query of reporters.

Sohan couldn’t manage to impress team management to play for his side in the ICC Champions Trophy, hosted by Eangland and Wales.

When asking to share his Champions trophy’s experience, he said that it was a great achievement for him to be a part of that squad. He has learnt a lot from that big event.

“If we can finish the conditioning camp as planned, it will be better for the players as well as me,” he claimed and also hoped that if he gets a chance to the best XI, he will perform well.

He seems to be the next wicket keeper of Bangladesh national cricket team. Meanwhile he featured for Bangladesh team in replace of Mushfique and took many catches.

Sohan made his Tests and ODIs debut in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
