Uttar Baridhara Club emerges champions in BCL
Uttar Baridhara Club emerged champions in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) to qualify for the Bangladesh Premier League 2016-17 as they beat Agrani Bank Sporting Club by 2-1 goals held on
Wednesday at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamala Stadium in the city`s Kamalapur.
In the day`s match, Alamgir and Russel scored one goal each for the winners in the 63rd and 68th minutes respectively while Russel netted the lone goal for the losers in the 69th minute.
With the day`s win Uttar Baridhara secured 27 points while Agrani Bank remained at their previous credit of 27 points
