Soumya out in the first over

Bangladesh batsman Soumya Sarkar went out in the very first over in the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Thursday.

The batsman played Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s last ball, angling away wide of off stump, with an angled bat, and the ball hit his stumps.

Earlier, Bangladesh captain Mashrafe tossed the coin, Kohli called heads, and it was heads. Indian captain asked the Tigers to bat first.

However, Mashrafe said that he would have liked to bowl too. “We want to go further, last 2-3 years we have improved a lot. 2015 World Cup also we went through (the group). This time it`s time to go further,” he said.
