Bangladesh to bat first

India won the toss and elected to field first against Bangladesh in the second semi-final in the ICC Champions Trophy at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Thursday.

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe tossed the coin, Kohli called heads, and it was heads. Indian captain asked the Tigers to bat first.

However, Mashrafe said that he would have liked to bowl too. “We want to go further, last 2-3 years we have improved a lot. 2015 World Cup also we went through (the group). This time it`s time to go further,” he said.
