Bangladesh to bat first
Bangladesh will bat first against England in the opening match of ICC Champions Trophy at Kennington Oval, London on Thursday.
English captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and asked the Tigers to bat first.
Bangladesh captain Mashrafe said that he would have wanted to bowl, too. “We have to make a decent total, and fielding will be important,” he added.
Bangladesh have included Imrul Kayes at No. 3, as well as Rubel Hossain as the third seamer; Mehedi Hasan misses out.
Bangladesh Team: Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Imrul Kayes, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain.
