Nasir sends back Broom, Latham

Bangladeshi all-rounder Nasir Hoassian sent back New Zealand’s two batsmen Neil Broom and Tom Latham in successive overs in the final match of Tri-Nation Series at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground, Dublin on Wednesday.

The off-spinner broke their second wicket 133-run stand after the duo took New Zealand to 156 for 2 after 28.1 overs.

Broom (63) went down and swept the ball towards square leg. Mortaza was in the perfect position and took the catch just above his head.

In Nasir’s following over, Latham (84) went back in the crease and tried to turn the ball into the the leg-side but missed and it took his off-bail.
