Zimbabwe beats UAE by 4 wickets

Zimbabwe won by 4 wickets against United Arab Emirates in their Cricket World Cup pool match. United Arab Emirates set Zimbabwe a 286-run target at Nelson on Thursday.

Zimbabwe reached the target with 12 balls remaining.

Zimbabwe lost its sixth wicket when Craig Ervine (42) was caught by Chandran at 42nd over. Naveed took the fifth wicket by dismissing Solomon Mire (9) at over 31. Mohammad Tauqir sent Regis Chakabva (35) back to the pavilion when the team score was 112. Javed took Hamilton Masakadza`s wicket for only 1 run. Skipper Tauqir gets Raza caught at backward point when he scored 46 for the Zimbabwean team.

Earlier, Zimbabwe have won the toss and elected to take the field first.
