Change in IPL 2017 schedule due to Delhi elections

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the revised timings of three Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 matches, owing to the Municipal elections, that to supposed to be held in Delhi on April 22.

As a result, the home matches involving Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and the Rising Pune Supergiants have undergone minor changes.

As per the earlier schedule, Delhi were supposed to host Mumbai at 4:00 pm on April 22, while Pune took on defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad at home at 8:00 pm. But due to elections falling on the same date in Delhi, BCCI have sent the revised fixtures list.

Now, on April 22, Delhi will travel to Mumbai and will play the 8:00 pm match while the reverse fixture will be played at the Ferozshah Kotla on May 6.

While the Pune-Hyderabad clash have been changed from 8:00 pm to 4:00 pm on April 22. The 10th edition of the IPL is scheduled to start from April 5.
