Sri Lanka 494 all out against Bangladesh

Sri Lanka were all out for 494 in their first innings on the second day of the first Test against Bangladesh in Galle Wednesday, with Kusal Mendis top-scoring with 194.

Mendis added 28 runs to his overnight score of 166 before he was caught on the boundary while trying to bring up his double century with a six.

Niroshan Dickwella (75) and Dilruwan Perera (51) both scored half-centuries on the second day after Asela Gunaratne made 85 on the first.

Teenage off-spinner Mehedi Hasan was the pick of the Bangladeshi bowlers, taking four wickets for 113 runs.
