Bangladesh dashing opener Tamim Iqbal boosted his confidence ahead of Test series against Sri Lanka as he scored century in their lone warm up match against Sri Lanka president XI at Moratuwa on Thursday.

Earlier, Bangladesh opted to bat first after losing the toss and lost Somya Sarker quickly. However Tamim was very confident on the field so that he picked a formidable century.

The southpaw opener smacked 136 runs in 182 balls with nine fours and seven sixes. Tamim was unbeaten on 136.
