Shakib, Tamim, Mahmudullah off to UAE to play PSL
The curtain of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was raised two days before. Three superstar of Bangladesh cricket: all-rounder Shakib-Al- Hasan, dashing opener Tamim Iqbal and right-handed batsman Mahmudullah Riyad didn’t join the event on time due to their historic one-off Test match against India in Hydarabad. After finishing the five day match, the trio started for United Arab Emirates from India on Monday.
All Bangladeshi spectators will keep their eyes on the cricket tournament for these three players.
Shakib-Al-Hasan and Tamim Iqbal will play for Peshawar Zalmi in this session of PSL and Mahmudullah Riyad will play for Quetta Gladiators. However, Mahmudullah will play for the first time in this event. Shakib and Tamim played previous edition of PSL along with wicketkeeper cum batsman Mushfiqur Rahim. This year, Mushfiq isn’t playing the league.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh cricket team returned to Dhaka from India by a US-Bangla flight this noon.
