Mushfiq awaits another milestone

Tigers Test skipper Mushfiqur Rahim is awaiting another milestone of becoming the fourth Bangladesh batsman to reach 3,000 runs in Test format of cricket.

He is just 78 runs short of reaching 3,000 runs club in Test cricket.

Previously, Habibul Bashar Suman, Tamim Iqbal and Shakib-Al-Hasan were passed 3000 runs in Test cricket.

Bangladesh will play their historic one-off Test match on Indian soil since receiving the Test status 17 years ago. The match will start at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday.

The Bangladesh record for the most Test runs is held by Tamim Iqbal, who moved to 3443. Bangladesh ace-all rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan held second position with his 3213 runs and Habibul Bashar Suman scored 3026 runs, who stood third position.
