Tigers eye second Test win
Bangladesh will look to win the ongoing second test against New Zealand after Shakib Al Hasan magical performance in the final session on the second day at Hagely Oval in Christchurch.
“We can win the match if we will execute our plan on the field. We have the capability to attain it,” hoped Tigers fast bowler Taskin Ahmed.
“Tomorrow is a vital day for us. If we want to achieve our goal, we will need a bowling breakthrough early in the morning,” he added. “Then the duty will go to batsmen’s shoulder. If they can post a challenging target to Black Caps, we will win the match.”
The home side scored 260/7 in response to Bangladesh’s first-innings total of 289 before rain stopped play after 77 overs.
