Bangladesh in control of first Test
The Bangladesh cricketers are in control of their first Test against New Zealand in Wellington, reaching 391 for 4 at Tea with Shakib remaining unbeaten on 126 and Mushfiq batting on 112.
The visitors resumed on 154 for 3 this morning after a rain-disrupted first day, which was called off early due to bad light with on 40.2 overs bowled over the whole day.
The weather has done an about-turn in Wellington, with sun expected to shine right through the day.
Mominul Haque and Shakib Al Hasan resumed at the crease on day two, but Mominul was unable to add to his 64 runs scored on the first day, caught behind off Tim Southee`s bowling just four overs into the day.
His replacement, Mushfiqur Rahim, has since steadied the visitors innings alongside Shakib, with the pair both reaching their centuries and scoring a 222-run partnership before the tea break.
