Mashrafe reaches another unique milestone
Tigers lost their opening one-day international against New Zealand at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Monday. Though Bangladesh team didn’t win the match, Tigers stalwart skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has achieved a new milestone. As the11th cricketer, Mash has entered the club of 1500 runs, 200 wickets and 50 catches in limited over cricket.
Bangladesh captain was five runs away from the landmark before the match started against New Zealand. He scored 14 runs before ending one to Broom off Santner’s bowling. Now he has found a place to stand beside Wasim Akram, Kallis and Indian legend Kapil Dev.
