Tiger’s uncapped trio can change the game

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has included three uncapped players ahead of tiger’s one-day international series against Kiwis. The trio uncapped players are – Tanveer Haider, Subhasish Roy and Mehedi Hasan Miraz. The three players would be effective in the New Zealand conditions.

Tanveer Haider, leg-spinning all-rounder, has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket. He was named in Bangladesh 15-man squad and gives a different dimension to Bangladesh bowling attack as he is a genuine leg-spiner. He has impressed coaching team during the preparation camp in Australia.

Paceman Subhasish Roy can hit the deck and extract bounce and movement off the wicket. He can be dangerous in the Kiwi conditions.

Mehedi Hasan Miraz, who had finished a tremendous series against England recently, was included in the Bangladesh side for the forthcoming ODI series. He can be handy for the tigers in the series.

Bangladesh lost tour opener against NZ XI in their first warm up match today. The first ODI between Bangladesh and New Zealand will begin on 26 December.
