Bangladesh 194 for all against Sri Lanka
Bangladesh hopes for a place in finals seems to have evaporated as they were bundled out for 194 in 48.3 overs against Sri Lanka in the second semi-final of the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday.
Despite a good start the junior Tigers looked on course for a good total as they reached 164 for four after 38 overs. However an incredible collapse saw them lose their last six wickets for just 28 runs.
Rayan Rafsan Rahman (38) and Afif Hossain (36) were notable scorers for Bangladesh`s innings.
Left-arm spinner Praveen Jayawickrama was the pick of Sri Lankan bowler as he grabbed four for only 35 runs in his ten overs.
Scores In Brief: Bangladesh 194 all out in 48.3 overs, Rayan 38, Afif 36, Saif 26, Rakib 22; Jayawickrama 4/25 and Weerasingha 3/29.
