Fans to keep eyes on Taskin, Rubel, Mustafiz
The fans of Bangladesh cricket will keep their eager eyes on pacer Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza in the upcoming series in New Zealand.
The Tigers are now having ‘conditioning camp’ in Australia where they played two practice matches against Big Bash teams Sidney Sixers and Sideny Thunder.
They got mixed taste in Australia as they won over Sidney Sixers in their first match but failed to continue it against Thunder.
The experience, however, will help the Tigers to cope with the condition in New Zealand, a neighboring country of Australia.
In the first match, Soumya Sarker’s medium pace was very effective to defeat Sixers by seven wickets as he took three wickets for five runs in an over.
Rubel hauled three wickets for 27 runs in four overs against Thunder. Taskin also did well. The pacers of Sixers and Thunder also took many wickets.
It is assumed that the pacers will dominate on the soil of New Zealand and as such Bangladesh’s success is largely dependent on the performance of these three Bangladeshi pacers.
