Ashraful leaves for Qatar to play National Day Cricket Cup

Former Bangladeshi skipper Mohammad Ashraful has left for Qatar today to take part the exhibition match in the Qatar National Day Cricket Cup. `Pro Event` will organize the match.

The 32 years old former national cricketer will play for World XI under the captaincy of Shahid Afridi.

Ashraful and right arm medium fast bowler Mohammad Sharif will represent Bangladesh in World XI.

A T20 and an ODI exhibition match between World XI vs Qatar XI will take place at Asian Town’s cricket stadium on December 16 and 18 respectively.

Ashraful will play for the World XI in the ODI match on December 18.

Mohammad Ashraful told Jago News that after playing the match he would return to Bangladesh for playing domestic cricket which will begin on 20 December.
