Messi tells Barcelona chiefs: We need these 3 signings...

Lionel Messi has discussed the weaknesses he sees in Barcelona`s squad with directors.

The Argentine has verbally agreed terms over a new deal with Barca and Don Balon says he`s also spoken with club chiefs about the signings he feels need to be made.

Messi believes they need a new right-back after losing Dani Alves to Juventus last summer. He also wants an experienced midfielder added and a better striker option than Paco Alcacer.

In midfield, Messi feels they`re missing a Xavi-type, especially with Andres Iniesta struggling with his fitness this season.
