Comilla Victorians win by 7 wickets
Comilla Victorians has defeated Barisal Bulls by 7 wickets in the 23rd match of BPL-2015 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in city’s Mirpur on Monday.
Comilla Victorians captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss, and invited Barisal Bulls to bat first.
Barisal Bulls managed to score only 105 runs for six wickets in 20 over’s.
Mahmudullah scored 26-run while Rony Talukdar, Sabbir Rahman, S Prasanna and E Lewis took 19, 17, 15 and 15 run.
Ashar Zaidi took two wickets besides, Shoaib Malik, Abu Hider, Darren Stevens and Kamrul Islam Rabbi took one wicket each.
In chasing of 105-run Comilla Victorians easily scored 106-run in 17.3 overs loosing 3 wickets.
Ahmed Shehzad scored unbeaten 76-run while Ashar Zaidi took 20.
Al-Amin Hossain and Taijul Islam and Sajedul Islam took one wicket each.
