Miller joins Rangpur Riders, Watson may join
South African T20 star David Miller is known as ‘killer Miller’ for his hard hitting Batting in Indian Premier League (IPL). In this BPL session, Bangladeshi cricket lovers can enjoy this batsman’s magical batting.
Rangpur Riders has brought the opportunity to the Bangladeshi spectators as he has already joined Rangpur Riders to take part in the fourth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Confirming the matter, M A Baki, Media Manager of Rangpur Riders, said besides Miller, Pakistani all rounder Anwar Ali also joined Rangpur Riders.
He added that the two players will be available for Riders from the Chittagong phase of BPL. Anwar Ali is expected to arrive in Chittagong around 9:30am on Thursday and will start playing from that day.
However, though Miller joined Rangpur Riders, he will not be available for the team Chittagong phase of BPL. He will play for Rangpur Riders in the last six matches in Dhaka.
Media Manager M A Baki told Jagonews that they are expecting that Australian ace all rounder Shane Watson will join Rangpur Riders.
“We have already contacted him and discussion is going on. We hope he will join Rangpur Riders in the last phase of the BPL which will be held in Dhaka,” he said.
Among the foreign players, Rangpur will feature Shaheed Afridi, Babar Azam, Mohammad Shezad and West Indian Gidron Pop.
