Kohli spends 28th birthday with Anushka

Virat Kohli spent his birthday at rajkot with girlfriend and Bollywood star Anushka Sharma. He received millions of wishes from his fans on his 28th birthday, and had the company of Anushka Sharma on the special day.

The two were pictured together in Rajkot on Saturday, after Indian cricket team arrived in the city for the first of a five-Test series against England.

Kohli and Anushka had celebrated Diwali together too, as they watched FC Goa’s Indian Super League game in Goa. Kohli is co-owner of FC Goa.

Meanwhile, Kohli’s former and current teammates wished him on his birthday. Kohli leads the Indian side at Rajkot when they take the field to face England in the first of the five match Test series. They go into the game as the number one team in the ICC Test rankings and on the back of an emphatic 3-0 whitewash of New Zealand.

Virat is believed to have taken an early morning flight from Delhi - where he was born and lives - for Rajkot to join his teammates and start preparations for what is a long series which also sees limited over matches in 2017.

But first, Kohli had his share of celebrations at home where he cut a cake with blue icing highlighting the Indian colours and had Kohli written on it including the number ’18’ as per his jersey.
