Shakib surpasses Warne

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib AL Hasan has become the first Bangladeshi player to reach a another milestone.

He has broken the record of legendary spinner Shane Warne and is now second in the list of spinners with most wickets at home in ODI’s.

Shakib achieved this record in the first ODI between Bangladesh and England which ended yesterday. He dismissed the England opener Jason Roy on a score of 41 to achieve this milestone.

Before this match, the number of wickets of Shakib was 134, equal to Shane Warne. He is now second in the list after the great Muttiah Muralitharan.

Shakib also the highest wicket-taker for his country in all formats of the game.
