3 Jamaat-Shibir activists among 38 held in Satkhira

Police in separate drives held 38 people including the activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir in Satkhira.

The drive was conducted from Saturday night to Sunday morning at eight thanas in the district.

Mizanur Rahman, DIO of special branch of police, the detained people are the accused in different sabotage cases.

Among the arrestees, 10 people were from Satkhira Sadar thana, 6 from Kolarua thana, 5 from Tala thana, 2 from Kaliganj thana, 1 from Shymnagar thana, 11 from Ashashuni thana, 2 from Debhata thana and 1 from Patkelghata thana.
