4 Jamaat-Shibir men among 42 held in Satkhira

Police in separate drives held 42 people including 4 activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir from eight thanas in Satkhira.

Mizanur Rahman, District Inspector of Police, said they conducted separate drive from Saturday evening to Sunday morning. 

Among the arrestees, 9 people were from Satkhira Sadar thana, 9 from Kolarua thana, 2 from Tala thana, 3 from Kaliganj thana, 2 from Shymnagar thana, 15 from Ashashuni thana, 1 from Debhata thana and 1 from Patkelghata thana.
