Arrest order against 16 BNP leaders

A Dhaka Court on Tuesday issued an arrest warrant against 16 BNP leaders including its vice-chairperson Selima Rahman and senior leader Barkatullah Bulu in a case filed with Mugda Police Station in the city over subversive activists.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Khorshed Alam issued the arrest warrant against them.

The other indicters Habinun Nabi Khan Shoel, Joint secretary, Maruf Kamal Khan, Press secretary of BNP’s Chairperson, Shamsuzzaman Shimul Biswas, Azizul Bari Helal, Shirin Sultana and Kaium Commissioner.

Earlier, Nurul Islam, Sub-inspector of Mugda Police Station filed a case against BNP leaders and activists over subversive activities on February 17, 2015.
