BNP Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman dies

BNP Vice Chairman and former minister Abdullah Al Noman has passed away. He died at a private hospital in the capital at 6:00 am on Tuesday, confirmed his personal assistant, Nurul Azim Hiru, to Jago News.
Hiru stated that Noman was taken to Square Hospitals early this morning after feeling unwell, where doctors declared him dead.
Noman was first elected as a Member of Parliament from Kotwali, Chittagong in 1991, and after winning that election, he was appointed Minister of Fisheries. Following his victory in the 2001 election, he served as the Minister of Food.
