The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will finally participate in the all-party meeting with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus regarding the July Proclamation.

Confirming this, BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan stated that the party would send a one-member delegation to the dialogue. BNP Standing Committee member Salauddin Ahmed will attend the all-party meeting called by the Chief Adviser.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) will not attend the meeting with the Chief Adviser.

Earlier, Shairul Kabir Khan mentioned that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir had not made any statement regarding participation in the meeting. He added that Mirza Fakhrul is set to depart from Thakurgaon for Dhaka today and will reach Dhaka by 1 pm.

Citing Salauddin Ahmed, Shairul Kabir also noted that the Secretary General would make a statement after his arrival in Dhaka.

BNP Standing Committee member Iqbal Hassan Mahmud Tuku earlier confirmed that Salauddin Ahmed would represent the party at the meeting. However, a BNP source clarified that Salauddin Ahmed would attend the meeting to formally announce the party's decision not to participate.

On Wednesday night, the Chief Adviser's press wing announced that an all-party meeting would be held under the leadership of Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus on the July Proclamation. The meeting will take place on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Foreign Service Academy.
