Hasina, Rehana, Joy, Putul sued over RAJUK plot forgery

The Anti-Corruption Commission, ACC, has filed a case against 16 individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, son Sajeeb Wazed Joy and daughter Saima Wazed Putul, over a Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) plot forgery.

ACC director general Md Aktar Hossain confirmed the matter on Sunday, January 12.

Earlier on December 26, the anti-graft body began an investigation into the allegations.

On the day, the ACC director general said allegations surfaced that Sheikh Hasina illegally took the allotment of six government plots measuring a total of 60 katha at Purbachal New Town project for herself, Sheikh Rehana, Joy, Putul, and Sheikh Rehana’s son Radwan Mujib Siddiq Bobby and daughter Ajmina Siddiqui in collussion with some higher officials of RAJUK.
