BCL office demolished at BAU

The office of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at the Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) campus was demolished by students from Shaheed Shamsul Haque Hall.

The BCL office, located at Abdul Jabbar intersection, was vandalized and completely destroyed using a bulldozer around 1:00 am. on Friday.

Witnesses stated that the students initially began breaking the office building by throwing bricks. Later, a bulldozer was used to fully demolish the structure. Over a hundred students were present at the scene, chanting various slogans.

A student from Shaheed Shamsul Haque Hall, who requested anonymity, said, "Today, on the anniversary of the banned organization, the existence of Chhatra League has been erased from BAU. If anyone attempts to rehabilitate this organization, we will take strict actions against them."
