The High Court has scrapped ten sabotage cases filed against BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at various police stations, including Kafrul, Darus Salam, and Jatrabari.

The High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain passed the order during a hearing on a rule issued in this regard.

Barristers AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon and Kaisar Kamal represented Khaleda Zia in court. Lawyers Joynul Abedeen, Gazi Kamrul Islam Sajal, Nasir Uddin Asim, Jakir Hossain, and Muhammad Siddiq Ullah Miah were also present.

However, the High Court also cancelled the sedition case filed against the BNP Chairperson over her remarks about the number of martyrs in the Liberation War.
