Chhatra League banned as terrorist organisation

The interim government has banned the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of the Awami League, as a terrorist organisation.
The Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a gazette notification on Wednesday (October 23), banning the organisation.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin approved the notification.
