Yunus engages in talks with Gono Forum
A nine-member delegation from Gono Forum, led by its emeritus president Dr. Kamal Hossain, met with Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the state guesthouse Jamuna on Saturday.
The team arrived around 3:00pm, according to reports from the scene.
The dialogue is expected to cover key issues such as political and state reforms, as well as discussions about the upcoming elections.
Several other political parties including Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Jatiyatabadi Samamona Jote, 12-parties, Jatiya Mukti Council, Labour Party, Jatiya Party (Andalib) are also scheduled to meet with the chief adviser later in the day.
Previously, on October 5, leaders from the BNP, Jamaat, Islami Andolan Bangladesh, and representatives from six parties each from the Ganatantra Mancha and the Left Democratic Alliance held talks with Dr. Yunus at Jamuna.
