Ex-minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury arrested

Saber Hossain Chowdhury, former minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, has been arrested.

The Detective Branch, DB, of Dhaka Metropolitan Police apprehended him in the capital’s Gulshan area on Sunday evening (October 6).

Muhammad Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner of DMP’s media and public relations wing, confirmed the arrest.

The police official, however, did not reveal in which case he was arrested.

With Awami League's nomination, Saber Hossain Chowdhury became member of parliament from Dhaka-9 constituency for several times.
