SUST BCL President Khalilur arrested

Khalilur Rahman, President of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) unit of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), has been arrested.

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested him after conducting a raid in Bhaluka, Mymensingh, around 1:00 pm on Saturday.

Md Mashiur Rahman Sohel, Assistant Superintendent of RAB-9, confirmed the arrest in a press release on Sunday morning.

Khalilur is an accused in a case filed with the Kotwali police station under Sylhet Metropolitan Police. He was handed over to the police station following his arrest, Sohel said.

RAB-9's intelligence activities and operations are ongoing to apprehend other absconding suspects in the case, he added.
