The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Juba League activist Delwar Hossain Rubel in connection with a shooting incident involving students and civilians in Uttara.

Rubel was apprehended on Tuesday morning during a drive in the Tongi area of Gazipur.

ANM Imran Khan, Senior Assistant Director of the Legal and Media Wing of RAB, confirmed the arrest.

He stated that the gunfire occurred during an anti-discrimination student movement in Uttara Sector 11 on August 3. Rubel, who allegedly fired a pistol, was arrested in relation to a case filed over the incident.
