Jamaat wants exemplary punishment of those involved in burning bodies

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Miah Golam Parwar on Monday said that those responsible for shooting and killing students and burning their bodies must be prosecuted.

He demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in this cruel and brutal act.

He said that the people of the country would never forgive those who established fascism, committed genocide, hanged Jamaat leaders, and caused numerous disappearances.

Parwar made these remarks during a meeting with the families of six individuals killed in the student-led mass uprising in Gaibandha.

He also claimed that the defeated group of August 5 is conspiring to incite riots between Hindus and Muslims.

He asserted that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is committed to ensuring the rights of all, regardless of religion or caste, and aims to build a non-communal, peaceful country.
