Attorney General Advocate AM Amin Uddin resigned on Wednesday, submitting his resignation to the President. 

Amin Uddin had served as the 16th Attorney General of the country for almost four years.

The then President Abdul Hamid appointed him for the post on October 8, 2020. Amin Uddin replaced late Attorney General Mahbubey Alam.

He previously also served as the Deputy Attorney General.
