BNP to comment on Jamaat ban after discussion: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday said the party will formally comment about the banning Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami after holding discussion at the party forum.

“We will not make any remark about it (Banning Jamaat) before discussing in party forums,” Fakhrul told Jago News this evening.

The government today officially banned Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing, Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, through an executive order.
