BNP forms convening committees in 4 cities

BNP has announced fresh convening committees for its units in four cities - Dhaka North, Dhaka South, Chattogram and Barishal.

A press release signed by the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi confirmed the matter on Sunday. 

Former President of Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal Saiful Alam Nirab was made convener of Dhaka North city unit of BNP while the party’s former Sports Affairs Secretary Aminul Haque its member secretary.

Former member secretary of BNP’s Dhaka South unit Rafiqul Alam Majnu and former joint convener Tanvir Ahmed Robin will lead the party’s Dhaka South city unit as convener and member secretary respectively.

BNP leader Ershadullah and former leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Nazimur Rahman were made convener and member secretary respectively of the party’s Chattogram city unit.

Meanwhile, Moniruzzaman Khan Faruq, Ziauddin Sikder Zia and Afroza Khanom Nasrin were made convener, member secretary and first joint convener of BNP’s Barishal city unit respectively.
