BNP announces fresh programmes demanding Khaleda’s release

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a three-day fresh programme demanding its chairperson Khaleda Zia’s release from jail.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir came up with the announcement at a press conference after a joint meeting held at the party’s Naya Paltan central office on Wednesday. 

He said a rally will be held in the capital’s Naya Paltan at 3pm on June 29. Apart from, rallies will be held in all metropolitan cities and districts on July 1 and 3 respectively.

BNP standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Goyeswar Chandra Roy, Senior Joint Secretary General advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Joint Secretary Generals Khairul Kabir Khokon, Habib-un Nabi Khan Sohel, Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Abdus Salam Azad and Syed Emran Saleh Prince were, among others, present during this time.
