Khaleda Zia in critical condition: Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said the party Chairperson Khaleda Zia is in 'very critical condition'.
He said Khaleda Zia is in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Her condition is critical and doctors don't allow anyone to go inside.
"I learned from doctors engaged in her (Khaleda Zia) treatment that her condition is very critical," he told the media after visiting her at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday.
Mirza Fakhrul said, "I want to urge people to pray for Khaleda Zia."

Khaleda Zia was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at the hospital around 3:30 am today as per the advice of her physicians.
Earlier on May 1, she was admitted to the hospital's Coronary Care Unit (CCU) to remove water from her lungs and discharged after two weeks, a source in the party had said.
On March 31, she was admitted to the same facility as per the advice of the medical board formed for her treatment and returned home on April 2 after necessary health checkups.
Khaleda Zia has been suffering from arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, and eye issues for a long time.
She also experienced bleeding in the digestive tract and liver cirrhosis later in November.
