2 new faces in BNP policymaking body

Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Saturday announced its new National Standing Committee after four and half months of its National Council.

Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir unveiled the new committee before the media at the party’s Naya Paltan headquarters.

The party declared 17 names among 19 of the committee members.The latest inclusions in the party’s highest policymaking body are Amir Khashru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.

Two senior leaders, Sarwari Rahman and Shamsul Islam, have been excluded.
