Khaleda Zia in hospital to undergo medical tests

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia went to Evercare Hospital, Dhaka on Wednesday night to undergo urgent medical tests.

She reached the facility around 8:30 pm, said BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

He said the BNP chief went to the hospital to undergo some urgent medical tests as per the decision of the medical board formed for her treatment.

Earlier on February 8, she underwent some medical tests at the hospital.

Khaleda Zia has been suffering from arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, and eye issues for a long time.

She also experienced bleeding in the digestive tract and liver cirrhosis later in November.
