Raushan announces Jatiya Party’s council on March 9

Raushan Ershad, Chairman of a faction of Jatiya Party, has announced the party’s 10th national council on March 9. 

She announced the date at a press conference at her Gulshan residence in the capital on Sunday noon.

She said Kazi Firoz Rashid will serve as the convener of the Jatiya Party’s Council Implementation Committee. The other members of the committee are Syed Abu Hossain Babla (co-convener) Golam Sarwar Milon (co-convener), Rafiqul Islam Sentu (Member Secretary) and Advocate Ziaul Haque Mridha (Treasurer).

On January 28, Jatiya Party chief patron Raushan announced herself as the chairman of the party and Kazi Mamunur Rashid, a presidium member of the party, as the secretary general on Sunday.

In the same order, she removed GM Quader and Mujibul Haque from their respective roles as chairman and secretary general.
