BNP calls hartal for Saturday and polls day

BNP has announced a 48-hour nationwide hartal from Saturday morning as part of its campaign for boycotting the election'.
The hartal will be observed from Saturday 6 am to Monday 6 am, the party's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said in a virtual press conference on Thursday.
However, the 12th parliamentary election will be held on Sunday (January 7).
